The Inclusive Schools Project is a dynamic and very successful partnership between the DDRC and School Boards, which works to ensure that all children have the right to attend their neighbourhood school, despite having physical or cognitive challenges.
DDRC's three experienced facilitators work right beside teachers in their classrooms demonstrating best teaching strategies for an inclusive classroom. The staff also works with principals, parents, teachers and students to create school cultures that are safe and welcoming for all.
