Our Inclusion Education Facilitators

For 10 years, the Inclusive School Initiatives worked in partnership with the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) to provide professional development for teachers.

Our Facilitators increase the teacherís capacity to effectively address student diversity and build inclusive classrooms.

The following were employed by the Developmental Disabilities Resource Centre of Calgary (DDRC) to further inclusive school practices;

• Inclusion Facilitators with over 70 years of combined experience as teachers, specialist and school administrators;
• Experienced special education teachers;
• Facilitators who hold Masters of Education Degrees in Leadership and Staff Development and Leadership and Counseling;
• Facilitators who have developed curriculum for use by two major public boards.
