Community Relations

We work to connect with a variety of individuals and community groups for the purpose of getting to know one another better, building relationships of trust, and exploring various ways we can work together, both formally and informally. We work with Aboriginal groups, First Nation and Métis groups. We work with Ethno-Cultural communities and immigrant and refugee settlement services. We also work with geographical communities, youth groups, faith groups, and communities of interest including community based services.

Disability Awareness, Outreach and Education

We offer educational opportunities in a variety of settings on the topic of developmental disability and related services. Many community groups have benefitted from learning more about developmental disabilities and we continue to learn from others about how to better serve all individuals and families. In addition to the groups mentioned above we also work with post secondary institutions and public agencies.
